im trying to connect from home to work but i cant see any option to change domain or ip address, only computer name?!
any ideas?
With VNC how do you connect to a computer that isnt on your local network?
I assume you will need a VPN (virtual private network setup) to do this.
The other way is to use logmein.
At work log in to www.logmein.com
Setup your work computer as directed and setup an account with logmein.com. Leave your work computer runnning and then log in to logmein from home, you will see the account you set up previously. Log in to that and you will have control of your work computer. I use it all the time and its brilliant. It is fully encrypted and free!.
