How can one change the owners name on the computer?

I was able to change the name on the admistrater thing but how to change where your name is at, like, documents and settings?


Thanks|||sadly you cant change the owners name because it has been registered under that name.|||Control panel -%26gt; User accounts. You can change the names from there, and upon restart it will change the document folders to them.|||Right click on computer%26gt;properties%26gt;change setting|||I believe the only way to do this is to create a new user. The reason is because there%26#039;s a lot of crazy system settings that assumes a user will never ever change the name of their %26quot;Documents and Settings%26quot; folder.





If it bugs you that much, you can always create a shortcut under Documents and Settings to point to your real folder. For example:





%26quot;C:\Documents and Settings\Jackie%26quot; is actually a shortcut that points to %26quot;C:\Documents and Settings\LameUserName%26quot;
