I recentley got a new computer and for some reason or another everything is in my sisters name. When i set up the computer i made a user account in her name (laura )so she can use my computer too, but now all the folder filepaths have her name in it even on my account eg. C:documentsandsettings/mymusic/thekiller鈥?
I Dont understand what could have went wrong. How can i change it without rebooting my full computer?|||Go into your control panel %26gt; select create user accounts %26gt; then edit the name of the admimistrator, problem solved|||use start-%26gt; control panel-%26gt;user accounts . change the name there. if it is not working think that ur system is made specially with ur sisters name.|||go 2 control panel%26gt;then user accounts%26gt; then administrator|||This is a done thru the computer%26#039;s registry.

oops did not read your entire question - Control Panel %26gt; User Accounts %26gt; add a new account (give yourself Administrative rights)|||administrative tools%26gt;local security policy%26gt;local policies%26gt;security options%26gt;accounts:rename administrator account
