This is for the computer guys?

is it possible to track someones internet usage by using goolge advance search just by typing the users name? if yes can you have that info sent to your e mail of what site they visitef and howlong ago they were on? if this is possible how can i stop it. if its not then how are hey doing this?Change log in name. and they do this from another computer at home|||Not just with google advanced search and not if you have changed your user name, but yes it is possible. There is a google service(never used it, so I don%26#039;t know much about it and can%26#039;t remember the name) that theoretically can alert you every time it sees certain keywords on the internet(it%26#039;s supposed to help you keep track of your hobbies or other interests). I guess if they used your user name as the keyword, then every time you did something that caused your name to be posted it would alert them(like if you posted in a forum).

EDIT: It is called google alerts..|||This is not possible using Google. Your movements can be tracked in a variety of ways with malicious software. Make sure your antivirus and anti-adware/malware software is up to date and run a full scan.|||Sounds like you got a key logger or some sort of worm in your comp...its not through google but you should update all your anti-virus anti-spyware software and if the problem persists just re-format...its a headache but it will cure your computers cold|||take a quick look at the bottom of the of the Yahoo! answers question area where it says SAVE right next to the email symbol (click on it,) see that NICE LITTLE TERM %26quot;SAVE TO WATCHLIST?%26quot; it%26#039;s done through google just as simple

Is anyone really good with computers? PLEASEEE HELP MEEE!!!?

we just got rid of a computer virus a couple weeks ago and paid $130 for a pro. to do it. he did a great job and installed a lot of firewall and virus protection stuff for our computer, and yesterday, something happened.

i was on the computer, and i got a popup saying %26#039;virus alert,do you want your computer protected?%26#039; or something like that. now i%26#039;m not a computer expert, so i clicked %26#039;protect.%26#039; then, every 15 seconds, we started getting popups about the %26quot;virus.%26quot; we looked this up on google and it said this is a virus that destroys everything in your computer, and the only way to get rid of it is to do a system restoration. we did that, and it%26#039;s working perfectly fine, but there%26#039;s only one thing.

we have 3 users on the computer, named %26quot;brian,%26quot; %26quot;joyce,%26quot; and %26quot;kelsey.%26quot;

i was on kelsey%26#039;s user when i clicked the popup, and thats when it started to come every 15 seconds. after we did restoration, we were able to sign onto joyce%26#039;s, but it will NOT let us sign on to brian%26#039;s or kelsey%26#039;s. every time we enter the password, it starts to sign on, but then immediatley goes back to the login screen. we tried to change the password and that didn%26#039;t work either.

can someone tell me what%26#039;s wrong and how to fix this?!?! PLEASE HELPPP! we REALLLY don%26#039;t want to pay another $130 for something we could have done ourselves. thanks so muchh!|||Hi,

A question about Outlook Express on my computer.?

Please help! I am an older gentleman (well, OK then, an ancient one) and have just joined the computer age. I am using a desktop computer presented to me by my daughter: she wanted a new laptop. My service provider is BT, and I am really pleased with the service they give me. In addition, I have another email address with Yahoo. Outlook Express is still here on my computer: I have changed the identity from her name to mine.

So far so good. Here%26#039;s the problem - she uses Outlook Express on her own computer for emails and does of course have her own email address, which is nothing like mine in any way.

But emails which should go directly to her computer are still coming through to me, despite changing the identity. Can this problem be solved - or should I try to kill off Outlook on my computer - and if so, how?

I really would appreciate your help on this one, since computers are still pretty new, and sometimes frightening, to me.

MG Rover: how the Phoenix Four hit the jackpot

Report into demise of car manufacturer reveals owners

Evidence Eliminator%26quot; computer software, a tax avoidance plot called %26quot;Project Slag%26quot;, six-figure bribes and an office affair were just some of the more outlandish ingredients revealed today by the long-awaited investigation into the MG Rover scandal.

The 850-page report lays bare the breathtaking lengths to which its former owners, the so-called Phoenix Four, went to enrich themselves before the company 鈥?Britain%26#039;s last large car manufacturer 鈥?collapsed in April 2005 with the loss of 6,500 jobs.

The four local businessmen and former MG Rover chief executive Kevin Howe paid themselves a total of 拢42m during their five-year ownership of the company, which they bought for a token 拢10 and left with more than 拢1bn in debts. The report concluded their financial rewards were %26quot;excessively large%26quot; despite the fact that the businessmen invested no money in the group after they bought it and took risks which were %26quot;relatively insubstantial%26quot;.

The most extraordinary behaviour comes from Peter Beale, one of the Phoenix Four. According to the report, at 10.05am the day after the government appointed inspectors in June 2005 to investigate Rover%26#039;s collapse, Beale purchased %26quot;Evidence Eliminator%26quot; software enabling him to wipe the hard drive of his computer.

According to its website, the software %26quot;quickly and professionally deep cleans your computer of %26#039;sensitive material%26#039;, leaving you with a clean PC, a clean conscience and instant peace of mind%26quot;. The company also promised users the program would enable them to %26quot;purge [their] PC of hidden computer data which could later be recovered with Forensic Software to be used as evidence against [them]%26quot;. At 12.20pm that same day, Beale installed the program on his computer.

When investigators examined the computer about a week after Beale ran the program, they discovered that he had deleted a sub-folder called %26quot;MG Rover%26quot; from his hard disk. They later found that one of these files contained details of the income and benefits received by John Towers, one of the four businessmen, from MG Rover.

When Beale was questioned by inspectors he changed his story several times, originally saying that he could not remember whether he had downloaded the software and that he frequently used similar programs, despite inspectors finding no evidence to support this claim. Later he claimed that he only wanted to delete personal documents.

The names given to some of the businessmen%26#039;s tax benefit schemes are equally bizarre. %26quot;Project Slag%26quot; 鈥?short for %26quot;stock lending agreement%26quot; 鈥?was one such scheme cooked up by Techtronic (MG Rover%26#039;s holding company), Deloitte (MG Rover%26#039;s auditors and advisers) and Barclays in the summer of 2000. The scheme would have earned 拢60m for MG Rover and 拢42m for Barclays but was blocked by the Inland Revenue, despite the best efforts of Towers to persuade them not to. In a recording Towers is heard promising officials that %26quot;Barclays would commit to never doing this again%26quot; and says %26quot;we are asking you not to challenge, and then you can change the law%26quot;, according to the report.

Two years later, they were at it again when Barclays approached Deloitte with %26quot;Project Aircraft%26quot;, a scheme where MG Rover would acquire the share capital of a company leasing two Boeing 767 aircraft. The idea was that the car company%26#039;s losses would be used to eliminate the leasing company%26#039;s tax liabilities. This time, the scheme went ahead, with the Phoenix Four%26#039;s holding company earning 拢10.6m from the arrangement. Much of this money was paid into the Guernsey Trust, an offshore account used mostly to fund the pension schemes of the Phoenix Four and Kevin Howe.

The report also accuses Brian Parker, a former director of Techtronic, of receiving a bribe from St Modwen Properties over a real estate deal involving the company%26#039;s Longbridge site in the Midlands.

The inspectors also criticised how one or more members of the Phoenix Four made business decisions on an ad hoc basis, with no board meeting being held or minutes produced. They also criticised them for employing Dr Li, who received 拢1.6m in consultancy services over 15 months before MG Rover collapsed, even though one of the Phoenix Four 鈥?Nick Stephenson 鈥?had a %26quot;personal relationship%26quot; with her. Inspectors said that her fees were %26quot;excessive%26quot; and that apart from translation, she %26quot;didn%26#039;t seem to add much%26quot;.

The inspectors said that Phoenix had used its income to support Edwards Cars, which was owned by John Edwards, the final member of the Four, and his wife, without which they said it would probably have had to stop trading. The level of financial support to the dealership was %26quot;not commercially justified%26quot; they said.

The Phoenix Four started out with plans to pocket a total of 拢75m over five years. They still own 拢11.6m of assets.

But the Seri|||i do not have an opinion on that case.

Computer starts but won't boot windows.?

Hello, so I%26#039;ve had the same computer for almost two years now and yesterday I%26#039;ve encountered my first problem.

I was just playing a Computer game while talking to a couple of friends in Skype next thing I know is that everything starts freezing at first I thought it was just the computer game but it was the entire computer. Anyways the computer was frozen and had no idea what to do I decided to see if it would unjam itself so I left it alone for about an hour but when I came back nothing had changed.

So I force rebooted, at first everything was fine the blue HP logo appeared, but then instead of going to boot windows it tells my my Hard disk has failed, this is the exact message:

    %26quot;ST3500620AS (my main hard drive) : Hard disk failure is imminent. Please back up your hard disk and have it replaced! Press %26lt;F10%26gt; for Setup, %26lt;F2%26gt; to Continue.%26quot;

The thing is I have two 500 Gig hard drives and they both have the same name in the BIOS screen.

So what I%26#039;m asking is what am I supposed to do? I have a 2nd hard drive in my computer can I just remove the bad one from my motherboard and then use the good one in its place? Or is it more complicated then that.

Also another thing is that Windows is installed in my main Hard Drive which has now died, how do I go about installing windows on the alternative Hard Drive?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as a sub question, where would you recommend to take your computer to get repaired if I can%26#039;t fix this problem on my own. I live in Southern California I would rather not go to Geek Squad since they over price or to Fry%26#039;s Repair department since they%26#039;re always so chaotic and take forever to do simple tasks.

(Also my HP warranty has expired so I can%26#039;t use that anymore)

Thanks for reading and I hope you can help me out.|||You can normally find a program (i normally use certain tools in Hiren%26#039;s boot cd) that will let you do a chkdsk on the bad disk which should enable you to boot it up and make a backup of it. Once the backup is made take the bad hard drive out and install windows on the good drive. Now all you need to do is restore the backup to the good drive and you will be up and running again. The tool in the boot cd is call NTFS4DOS. Being that I am a computer tech and I see what companies do I recommend if you need to find a tech, find one that works on computers outside of a company...look on Craigslist. uh...hey there...anyone. i%26#039;m new to this so bear with me. i%26#039;m pretty desperate cos i dont know wat to do. I have a fujitsu siemens laptop that was working good till i started fooling around. i installed style XP on it and changed my themes...and other stuff. i also changed the log in window...you know..where u get to type in your password under your user name. i used a new theme(some CIA background) and logged off. now i cant log in anymore cos it doesnt show nowhere for you to type in your password. it%26#039;s just the..standby/shutdown/log off window. nothin else.

i tried restartin in safe mode but it just goes back to that bleedin window, even in safe mode. i cant get into my computer no more.

sorry i%26#039;m going on but i got a project in there to turn in by thursday and i%26#039;m in trouble if i miss that. i NEED someone to tell me how to go pass that page. what am i gonna do? it was workin fine till i changed the theme...now this problem has got me stumped. i gotta log in somehow.|||Go to your Control Panel, User Accounts.

Is changing Vista Security Permissions for multiple files possible (iTunes song editing related)?

Alright, so for months Ive been trying to figure out why I%26#039;ve been unable to edit the information on some of my mp3 and mp4 files in iTunes, and I%26#039;ve finally discovered that the reason why was because of Windows Vista%26#039;s infamous security settings.

    To fix this editing issue:

    1. Find the file (song) where you store your music and right click on the file.

    2. Click the security tab at the top.

    3. Click edit button under the first table (it should have a shield next to it)

    4. When prompted by UAC click yes

    5. Find your user name and highlight it toward the top (your username should either be the name you log into your computer with, or the name you gave your computer when you got it).

    6. At the bottom, make sure you check allow for all of the boxes.

    7. Click Apply, and Viola! Editing the information under the ID3 tag in iTunes AND under properties -%26gt; details in the actual file name should be allowed!

So, now I%26#039;m trying to figure out how to avoid going about this tedious process of right clicking the file and manually changing the security settings (for all of my 6000 songs.. I think not!).

I tried changing the security settings for the entire folder that my music is located in, but it says %26#039;access is denied%26#039; for all of my mp3 files.. I believe this is because when you manually edit the settings you have to give additional permission from the UAC that vista uses, but I%26#039;m wondering if there is a way to bypass this. Help!|||I was experiencing the same issue but I found somewhere online that if you change the permissions on the folder that contains all your music then you will change the permissions for all songs within that folder. So if your music is scattered about your PC, I%26#039;d consolidate it into the itunes music folder then change the permissions on that folder. Hope this helps!

So far you have done the right thing, so to help remove the problem and others you should download and run this: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-An鈥?/a>

Boot into safemode and run the program. It works great but it is slow so have patience as it can a from 30 minutes to a few hours to complete. I recommend that you do the fast scan first and then reboot. This may allow you to get into your account normally. Then do a full scan.

E-Mail me if you run into problems.

Good Luck|||The Windows operating system constantly refers to the registry to get information about all of the components such as hardware and software which are installed on the computer. The registry tells Windows what to do and how to access the various programs, files, and processes. However, the registry can contain bad information which sends Windows off doing useless tasks or running unneeded routines. Sometimes errors occur including the freezeing. Other times the system slows down. Because of the sheer number of factors that can affect the registry, there鈥檚 no one size fits all approach. You can鈥檛 just go into the registry and remove the bad information because it鈥檚 nearly impossible to decipher which information is good and which information is bad. That鈥檚 a job better suited for software. I should like to commend Registry Easy http://make-computer-run-smoothly.com to you ! You can try ! Good luck!|||your computer haven eat by virus.

It's about computers, it's probebly easy, but i think i'm too thik for it?

let%26#039;s say your profile%26#039;s name on your computer is (XXXX)

you know when you start your computer and when it comes to that screen which has the name of your profiles (I think its only in windows XP) and lets say one of them profiles is your profile which is called XXXX.

    Here Are my question:

    1. how do you change the bacground of that screen

    2. how do you change the welcome note that sayes ( welcome XXXX) to something you want.

    3. how do you make a music tobe played in the background?

    4. IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO DO SO?

thank for taking your time and answering my :)|||control panel, settings look in there under accounts and acount settings of users must be admin tho|||Yes it is possible.

Every user has his own profile saved and is loaded when that user logs in to the system.

if your username is XXXX, the screen that you have saved when you are logged in as that user will be loaded everytime you visit windows.

The welcome message will always display your username XXXX.

You can change the music by going to windows properties and changing the startup music to what you want.

Additionally you may also a use a tweak SW to do changes to the system according to your wishes. Download it here: http://downloads.tweakxp.com/tweakxputil鈥?/a>|||you have to go to start and then go to the control panel click on appearence and themes and go to change desktop background or if you want to change your user account picture on the left corner you will see a user account picture button click on that and that should change your picture to the one that youn prefer.

You can just go to the control panel and then go to user accounts

I need some more security / passwords on my computer.?

    Hey guys whats up.

i have a problem. my brother keeps putting stupid stuff on my computer when im not here. like he changed my start button to say old goop.

he made it were my task manager is disabled and im tired of 1 thing after another and i want to get a password or something where he wont be able to get online or on my account. period.

i already have a windows password -where it loads up with accounts and when you click your name you type in a password to log in to the account.

however he knows how to bypass that and can also get in through safe mode.

i want something that will stop him from getting online/ on my account -preferable a password of some sort that way only i can get on my account / on line period. without him bypassing it / using safe mode.

    thanks guys

EDIT:I remember along time ago i had a password that as soon as the computer turned on it went to a black screen and had %26#039;%26#039;password%26#039;%26#039; in the middle of the screen and unless you knew it then there was no way to log on but i dont remember how to set that up.

please help as im sick and tired of the pranks =) thanks.|||i know exactly what you mean. you seem to be using xp, as the administrator password is not set and if you go to safe mode you can log on as admin without a password.

now here%26#039;s how to set up the password at the beginning:

when your computer starts, right at the beginning you should here a beep. then something on your screen shows up that sais press del to enter setup or something. press that. if nothing shows up, try delete.

then you get to a blue area. search everything until you find a password and/or supervisor password. set it and you%26#039;re done! but sometimes you have to make sure that you also set the password to show up all the time, not only when you enter bios, so look out for that. save %26amp; exit, restart and you%26#039;re done!

just be sure you remember the password, otherwise you%26#039;ll have to reset bios by taking out the battery on the mainboard or using a jumper, but then the whole bios will be gone and you%26#039;ll (maybe) have to reconfigure. your password will be gone too.

edit: don%26#039;t get lockup programs, they can be nasty.|||You want a program called lock my pc

you set a master password and thats it no one can get into the pc

you can set it to activate at every reboot, after standby and hiberbation, lock at certain times and after any inactivity.also it can be disable to it does not show on the taskbar or task managed and im not too sure about safe mode tho,but you can put a password in ure bios maybe for that.

Also when ure pc is locked everything still runs in the background.

if u want a full version then

    utorrent and

    www.mininova.com

    or www.torrentpond

start ure pc and look at the black screen boot up and it will tell you the key to enter the bios

restart the pc and keep pressing that key.

usually its DEL or F11 or F2.

and look through the bios settings to set a password and look for settings that allow no boot with out password|||What your thinking of is setting a password in BIOS. You can go into the BIOS on most PCs and set a boot password. This will prevent the PC from even booting until it is entered. Its much harder to hack those.|||Firstly, Set up a password on every account so he cant bypass u.

Anyone can bypass ur account password by disabling it thorugh another account!!!!

Secondly, if ur usng firefox u can set up a password to access the net too.

Thirdly, U need a BOIS password, making it almost impossible to hack.

Fourthly, u can set a password to ur programs by going to CONTROL PANEL%26gt;PROGRMS%26gt;SECRITY%26gt;PASSWORD ACCESSABLE%26gt; MAKE PASSWORD%26gt; AND EVERY PROGRAM NEEDS A PASSWORD TO LOAD

  • How to corner and kill the "win32.virut" virus?

Hi, I have been infected with a new version of win32.virut

For those of you who arent sure what kind of virus this is: It is a poliphorphing virus that changes its name every time it infects your computer, and continuously infects files throughout your hard drives, flash drives, external drives, and other networked computers.

It also injects itself into various critical system files like svchost (generic host).

I have disconnected all hard drives but one, re-formated the one left, and re-installed windows on it.

I now need to establish a decent protection and removal method agiainst the virus on the other hard drives when I re-connect them.

Does anyone have suggestions on what antivirus programs would be best for prevention agiainst this virus?

Also, I%26#039;m wondering if there is a way to run the whole dis-infection process in a virtual windows or something to prevent risk of re-infecting my main OS...|||You should carry out a format and clean install of your remaining hard drive because there isn%26#039;t a tool right now that can remove Virut. I can tell that you researched alot about Virut. Have a look in this link to tell you more about Virut and see why you should carry out a full format and clean install. I wish I can say there is a tool but there isn%26#039;t one.

It is far much easier and stress free just to flatten down your operating system and start again, at least this way, you know for sure that Virut is gone. What if you did carry on with the cleaning process in a virtual windows or other method, you have no way of knowing for sure that Virut is gone, especially it can infect all executable files and the damage to your files could be so great that it is unrepairable.

Have a look in this to tell you what you can and cannot backup otherwise you will re-infect your hard drive again if you backup the wrong files

    %26quot;Virut is not disinfectable. Your only option is to perform a full reformat. Do NOT attempt a repair install. It shall be a waste of time. If you do so, the infected executables remain on the machine %26amp; you shall likely trigger another bout of Virut.%26quot;

%26quot;This kind of infection is contracted and spread by visiting remote, crack and keygen sites. No AV gives 100% protection, however if you have a 32bit PC you might want to look at running free sandboxie.|||You have to stop your system restore. Do this by starting system restore and on the left it states to start or stop. You must stop system restore. With your virus protector, do a full scan. That will take out any malware or viruses that has been injected into your restore points. Don%26#039;t for get to turn your system restore back on. You can then do a reboot.

Can I forward port 80 to one computer on my network without affecting the others' internet connection?

I am going to host a website on a desktop computer connected to a broadband (always on) connection and I read that I need to forward port 80 so that remote computers%26#039; traffic isn%26#039;t directed to the other computers on my network. If I forward port 80 to one computer, will the others lose there ability to connect to the internet?

Also, I don%26#039;t know if I can ask multiple questions in one, but these are related. How do I associate a domain name I register with, say, GoDaddy, with my home external IP? I also read that you have to use DynDNS because ISPs change your external every so often, but I don%26#039;t know that you can use a DynDNS account with a website that isn%26#039;t one they already registered i.e. yoursite.theirsite.net.

Thanks|||Yes. Port-forwarding will send any traffic that comes to your router%26#039;s external (global) IP, destined for that port to a specific host on your network. It won%26#039;t affect the traffic of other users on your network, unless of course they wanted to host a website on their machine as well.

A general solution to point a domain name to your IP is to go through a domain name hosting service. Zoneedit.com offers a free DNS hosting service. When you sign up with an account at Zoneedit, they will tell you to go and configure their nameservers (at least 2) in your Godaddy account. This will get propogated to nameservers throughout the Internet (it takes upto a couple days for propogation throughout the Internet). In your zoneedit.com account, an %26#039;A%26#039; record will map a name directly to an IP.

Yes, Dyndns only allows you to use their name (at least w/ their free service). I believe there are some paid solutions that exist, which will allow you to dynamically map your name to your IP. Your router probably has a dyndns setting, where you can specify account information. However, you don%26#039;t _NEED_ a dynamic DNS service, but when your external IP address changes, the name will not map to your new IP until upto several hours after you update your Resource Record at Zoneedit, or wherever.

Why does my screen always go blank when windows asks for permission?

Whenever windows does that things where it asks for permission to continue my screen goes blank for five seconds and it popups in like a... it like becomes its own. Here is an example: I go to change your account name I need administrator privileges to do it and so the screen goes black for five seconds and the thing pops up saying windows needs permission to continue right? but everything behind it looks like its on a seperate computer. Its weird.

The MAIN question is how do I stop it from always going black and I have to wait till it comes up?

    please helppp

I have an Acer Aspire 9300|||turning the user account control is not recommended

It is for your security although it can become very irritating

    * to control UAC

    press windows + R

    type regedit

    press enter

then wait for that continue and give permission

on regedit click on my computer in the left panel

then press ctrl + F and then search for promptonsecuredesktop

    without spaces and press enter

when the result comes up in the right panel there you can change that value from 1 to 0

by doing so the black screen will no more come but it will still ask for your confirmation

    * to turn off user account control completely

    click the start menu

then click on your user account picture

    it would open a window

then in that window there would be a link to turn windows User account control on or off

    click there

and the remove the check box from use UAC and click on OK

    and restart your computer

then you wont get annoyed by that frequent promptings

but i recommend going for the first one as it is the best compromise between security and convenience|||Why worry about it? My HP does the same thing and I keep it like that just so I have a chance to cancel a permission if I have to.|||What you are dealing with is Vista%26#039;s User Access Control (UAC) and it is functioning the way it was designed. • Complicated Windows Vista help: calling all computer experts!?

I Google searched the new Windows 7 and I found a website saying how to change the settings of Vista to add hidden features that would be in Windows 7, so I clicked on it. Please don%26#039;t blame me for taking advice from a website to change computer settings, I admit, it wasn%26#039;t the smartest thing to do. Anyways, it was to change the taskbar to show only icons and not the icon + text of open programs, which is supposed to be something in Windows 7. Here is what it said to do:

Speaking of %26quot;iconizing,%26quot; Windows 7 uses nothing but icons on the taskbar, even for programs that are currently running. If you like the idea of doing away with the text that traditionally accompanies taskbar program icons, a simple Registry tweak will make it happen.

Click Start, type regedit, and press Enter.

Find and click the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics value.

In the right pane, right click in an open space and choose New, String Value

Name the string MinWidth, and then set the value to -255.

Exit the Registry Editor, and restart your system.

So I did all of that. I shut down my system, then I turn it back on and it won%26#039;t load Windows correctly, so I try all of the options such as %26quot;Safe Mode%26quot;, or %26quot;Commands Prompt%26quot; and all of the other ones and they all result in the same thing, restarting the computer and asking the same thing. It then told me to insert my Windows installation disk and restart, then follow the options for languages, then click %26quot;Repair Computer%26quot;. So I put the disk in and restarted it, but it just came up as the same thing as before, when there was no disk. So I then chose to run %26quot;Windows Memory Diagnostics.%26quot; It went through those tests and now it%26#039;s doing the same thing as before. Please help soon!!! Computer Tricks (Various)

How to create a message box (simple):

Step 1 and only step: Open up notepad on your computer. Type in the following:

    x=msgbox (%26quot;yourtexthere%26quot; ,0, %26quot;yourtitlehere%26quot;)

Replace %26#039;yourtexthere%26#039; with the words you want in your message box and replace %26#039;yourtitlehere%26#039; with the title you want on your message box (for example x=msgbox (%26quot;Do you want to learn how to make this message box?%26quot; ,4, %26quot;Instructables%26quot;).

Notice: To choose the types of buttons or how you want your message box to look like change the number in between the commas.

    x=msgbox (%26quot;Example Text%26quot; ,your number here, %26quot;Example Title%26quot;)

Replace your number here with one of the following:

0 displays the OK button only

2 displays the Abort, Retry and Ignore buttons

32 displays the Warning Query icon

48 displays the Warning Message icon

64 displays the Information Message icon
