Everything on my computer screen is big? Anyone got a simple answer?

Hiya.

I had my computer completely restored to factory settings. Well on the screen absolutly everything is much larger than it used to be, icons on the wallpaper and all webpages. I think its very simple to make it smaller but i cant find how. I have a Packard Bell and use Windows XP if that helps.

Also for people who have Windows Live Messenger its really wierd. I had an add-on you know the ones where your display name can be changed colour by entering codes like [C=6] i dont know where to download one. Can anyone reccomend me where to download it and what one to download.

Help Appreciated, thank you! x :D|||Right click on your desktop

1. Your display card drivers are not installed.

2. Your resolution is not set .

IF you had got the driver cd when you bought this system you can use it to install the drivers.

to set the resolution go to the control panel %26gt;%26gt; select display %26gt;%26gt; click on the tab settings%26gt;%26gt; and select the appropriate display.

Hope this helps|||This is a very simple problem to fix...

1) Go to the backround on the desktop and right click

2) From those options go to properties

3) From those options go to settings

4) Now if you look down on your left side its going to say Screen resolution and have a little bar you can drag left or right. Chances are it is on the 800 by 600 pixels setting. Drag that bar right to the desired size and go to apply. This will change it and when your done press ok. Simple as that!|||Go to your start %26gt; control panel, then find and open the %26quot;Display%26quot; option. On the window that pops up, select the %26quot;settings%26quot; tab. There should be a place that says %26quot;Screen Resolution%26quot; with a slider on it. Pull the slider to the right to make things look smaller, then click %26quot;apply%26quot; and your screen will flash for a moment, then you will have a pop-up message that gives you 15 seconds to click Okay.|||control panel /display/ settings|||You got the answers telling what to do.If that or nothing works, have your glasses checked.|||On the %26quot;File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help Bar for windows%26quot;, go to View, go down to size and click Smaller, Medium or Large. If the file bar doesn%26#039;t show, click F10. and then go to %26quot;View%26quot; etc as above. Try it.
