Need help in finding a virus file in my computer?

i got a virus from msn messenger chat window. by accident i clicked accept when i logged in and i received a message from a contact asking me to check her photo. anyway, this is the virus that spreads from pc to pc asking the people in your contact list to accept your file. the file changes names quite often.

after really looking hard for it, i found the name. it is %26quot;jdcavpfcwkdo.exe%26quot; however, my search engine is not working for now, so i cannot search there, and i have tried using command promt and typing %26quot;dir jdcavpfcwkdo.exe /a:h /s %26quot; and still, it hasnt found it. i made sure already to change my setting in my computer to show me always all the files including hidden files. do any of you know how i can find it. i can't get rid of it by using any anti virus programs. i think it is a back door trojan so no matter how many times an anti virus finds it, it always comes back.

Need help in finding a virus file in my computer?
You can remove it via the registry.but, if it is a Backdoor Trojan you will also need to go into the System 32 folder.
just check these 2 websites

www.softpedia.com and filehippo.com and download the free software to remove trojan, virus, spyware etc...

you can also try uninstalling the msn messenger if the suspected program is sitting there and try to reinstall, you won't loose any contact....
Use Sby-bot search and destroy(a free program) and click on deep search, it is really good i use it all the time and it gets rid of tons of viruses

Browser attacks aren't easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn't exhibit many obvious warning signs

The best protection for your computer is a 3-tiered approach: anti-spyware software, anti-virus software, and a firewall(ZoneAlarm Free 7.0.462.0)

Run the antivirus again. AVG/Norton recommended. They will sure find if it is a Trojan.

And u better set ur security measures in ur computer. ur computer lacks security. set up firewall or get Windows Defender. these will block anything dangerous being downloaded from net. get it.
